Art Workshops for children in Forum Box

The free art workshops allow children to explore art through a variety of creative methods, such as art quizzes, story time and activities combining art and movement. Our aim is to bring art into children's everyday lives and to make art workshops a permanent part of Forum Box's activities. The gallery will combine monthly changing contemporary art exhibitions with open spaces for children to explore. The workshop methods are always tailored to the specific exhibition and the most appropriate creative activities for each group are chosen according to the age of the children.

We organise free tours and workshops for kindergarden groups, school children and high school students. Workshops will be held in Finnish or English, and in spring 2023 also in German and French. Depending on the age of the participants, the workshop will last from 45 minutes (for the youngest) to 1.5 hours (for the older ones, the duration includes a guided tour of the exhibition) and can be booked for a time of your choice on weekdays between 9 am and 5 pm. The optimum group size is a maximum of 20 children, but we are flexible on this too.
