POCKETART collective: Lion's den/ In Annantalo

Lion's Den, a piece by two Czech dancers and DJ in Annantalo 23.9.

Performed by a fierce duo of two dancers (Johana Pocková, Sabina Bočková) and a DJ (Lukáš Palán), The Lion’s Den is a captivating and entertaining duet that makes you question who follows and who leads in our world as well as on stage.

At the end of the show you'll be invited on stage to throw your own shapes!

Lion's Den in Annantalo on 23.9. at 10 am and 12 pm.

The work is designed so that it can be performed outdoors or indoors. The work requires a flat platform and a relatively quiet environment (no traffic right next to it, etc.). Minimum size for the performance area: 10m (width) x 8m (depth). The maximum audience size is determined by the venue. If necessary, ask for more information!

Age: 7–12 years

Lion’s Den is part of Shape It -project, which is an international project aiming to expand the audience for contemporary dance in Europe to include the youngest generations. Shape It is a partnership of four European cultural institutions, The Place (London, UK), Annantalo (Helsinki, FI), Comune di Bassano del Grappa (Italy) and Tanec Praha (Czech Republic).
